"Since joining the Pink Ladies group I have connected with an amazing bunch of like minded women and through that mentorship and the supportive environment, I have build my skills and been able to raise over $35,000 for not for profit and leveled up my skills to benefit my local club.  The Pink Ladies have not only benefited my own personal journey but also contributes and opens doorways for women in sports".

"I was a first time spectator when my son played in the PRFY 2023.  The vibe of the festival was so uplifting, and seeing the different nations come together for the love of rugby, was an exhilarating sight to see.  A festival that embraced different cultures and getting to witness all the chanting, the performances, the music, the signing, and such passionate spectators was electrifying.  But what stood out was the Pink Crew.  Seeing how the festival was organised and how friendly and energetic the crew were, it made me want to be a part of the Pink Crew.  So what did I do, I signed up to volunteer for the 2024.   The experience as a Pink Crew memeber was definately different from being a spectator.  Right from the top, I felt welcomed and a part of a community sharing a passion for rugby and culture.  Being a Pink Crew member, I got to meet so many vibrant people.  Whether it was an athelete, team staff, fellow Pink Crew member, or hosting club member, I really felt the hype and energy of the festival.  You can definitely count me in to volunteer for 2025 Pink Crew".

"My first experience with PYRF started off as a Mum/Manager for Barbarians U10s in 2021.  The next year I was lucky enough to be asked to be a part of the Pink Ladies and I have loved the experience so much that I have been a part of the Pink team ever since.  The friendships that I have had the pleasure of making by working alongside these gorgeous ladies, along with getting to satisfy my love of watching rugby and participating in building youth rugby for the last 5 years has been a total joy".

"I’ve been involved in rugby on the Gold Coast for the past 19 years, taking on many roles, from team manager and executive committee member to canteen coordinator. Each of these roles has been a valuable part of my rugby journey, but nothing compares to being part of the Pink Crew.

There’s something truly special about an all women run organisation operating in a traditionally male dominated space. The sense of connection, purpose and support among the Pink Crew is like no other. It’s more than just volunteering, it’s belonging to a community that uplifts each other and makes a real impact.

Even though my boys stopped playing a few years ago, the Pink Crew has given me a way to stay involved in the game I love. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to be part of the rugby community and join an incredible group of women, I can’t recommend the Pink Crew enough".
